CHATEAU BOYD-CANTENAC 1998

This vintage was marked by the heat, the dryness, and the sunniness of the month of May. July was like any other July, but August was once again hot and sunny. September received heavy rains, but since « August makes the must », the harvest at the end of September, beginning of October, gave grapes that were very ripe and healthy. The wine is concentrated, dark, rich, and fat in the mouth with tannins that are at the same time powerful and supple, giving this wine its excellent ability to age.
